anyways, time for a decent post. I know i post a lotta crap about like, just... idk, i've been lazy to properly gather my thoughts (I think) so I thought I'd make a proper post. here goes~

so yesterday me and my family went out shopping for my siblings' school stuff. it felt so awkward tagging along because well LOL i don't have school anymore. I am... unemployed. omfg that's what I am?!

my little brother's gonna start school soon ah cutie ^^
he was just sitting on the floor playing that toy like a boss. and i couldn't be fucked telling him to be proper & civilised. >.>

and then i saw this um, those pen stands? they sell those pens on this pen-shelf? you know? yeah so people"tested" the marker pens on the stand itself haha. losers. (including me, i proudly wrote on it too)

what strikes me the most is that... without my having anything to do with it, i swear I didn't taint it with kpop at all when i first saw that pen-stand! there were lots of group names on it! other people wrote them!

lol well, this person missed like a part of the character.
it's supposed to be 샤이니 but yeah, nothing nor nobody is perfect.
but really, asdfghjkl next time don't miss out the character!

yeah so kids are going to school and I'm just gonna be like... hmm. what do i do now? :(
i miss a lot of things. my hostel, to be specific. and then things break down from there. little things. example~~


i miss looking at my forever May 2011 calendar :(
why is it stuck in May? because i had my AS exams then. & at the time i didn't have a desk calendar. LOL but i got a desk calendar after that and couldn't be bothered changing it anymore. haha i'd draw the title of a Kdrama I've watched and stick it on. this pic doesn't have City Hunter on it!
Besides, i like May ^^

i miss my Sociology textbooks. :(
i miss running my fingers, scanning through the words on the smooth page. and omg i miss the smell of the books, that smell of 'knowledge' feel. especially the Haralambos & James Fulcher books :( and no, i do not miss my other textbooks. i disregard ever having any other books other than these precious things.

lol i look like shit. it was on a casual friday ok~ :P
i miss doing the laundry & ironing my uniform :(
it's actually quite comforting to do the laundry. because i mean, there's so little to wash since all i wear are my uniform, sleeping clothes & afternoon clothes. & i do the laundry everyday so it's all in little amounts & i miss using fabric softener. smells so good~ Downy! i miss it so much :( that little bottle of sweet smelling stuff aw :(


i don't miss school. i don't miss "studying". essentially we are studying every single day. we learn something new all the time, be it from a stranger or from your mother or just going out and see behaviours of animals. it's all learning. you drop something but able to catch in time; you learned that you have good reflexes ^^ that's learning too. learning about the world and learning about yourself. what I mean is, i do not miss school-studying, in class with pen & paper & rules & homework (ew gross)

so yeah.


it's the last day of 2011.
not doing anything today. dad plans something for dinner outside. idk how that's going along. mom's out for a spa. sister has been acting shady so i don't want to associate myself with her shadiness. little brother, i spent time with him this morning at Jungle Gym ^^ but in the afternoon, i am all alone. which is nice, i guess.
haha tbqh, saying goodbye to 2011 is like saying bye to someone you just met. to me, it is like this:

you're at a cafe and it's a full house.
2011 : oh hi, is this seat taken?
you : oh naah, have a seat.
2011 : awesome, thanks! i'm 2011, btw.
you : oh cool, I'm just another person. ^^ nice to meet you.
2011 : is that a good drink you're having?
you : yeah, pretty good. how's yours?
2011 : good too. *spills drink on you accidentally* OH SHIT i'm so sorry
you : oh damn. ugh. you know what? i'll clean my self up, it's okay~
2011 : here, let me get you a new drink. and a muffin! on me, i am so sorry.
you : aw great, thank you so much ^^
2011 : okay *gives you muffin & drink* hey i have to go now. good seeing you.
you : you too. bye 2011! sucks you spilled this on me but hey, thanks for the drink.

haha so the metaphor about 2011 spilling a drink on you is your "down" while 2011 getting you a free meal is your "up". clearly a year would have it's ups and downs. just like any other year.
new years are good, don't get me wrong. it's just... there's gonna be a new year, every year. so... yeah. yall get a new "beginning" after every 365 days or so ^^


and i am looking forward for this new beginning that is due tomorrow.
